Chris Godber is an artist from Congleton, Cheshire whose artwork is often expressive and abstract
Chris first began painting at the age of 20 (5 years ago) and for the last few years had been a studio artist of the Victoria Mill Art studios in Congleton, where he stayed for 2 years. Allowing him to explore and expand on his skills and knowledge of painting and art.
He works in a variety of media, though currently concentrates on acrylic paintings and smaller scale drawings done with marker or posca pens.
Most recently he has been involved in an artists co-operative based in Congleton called the Electric Picture House. A new arts collective of local artists developing artists studios, gallery and workshop space in an old local building.
He has been involved in a number of exhibitions and arts events in the North West, and has sold work to individuals both nationally and abroad.
